This market resolves to Yes if Doug Ford takes a clear and public action that constitutes entering Canadian federal politics between January 1, 2026 and January 31, 2026 inclusive. Entering federal politics is defined as formally declaring candidacy for the House of Commons, announcing a run for leadership of a federal political party, accepting a federal political appointment, or otherwise publicly committing to seek or assume a federal political role. This market resolves to No if Doug Ford does not take any such action within January 2026. Remaining solely in provincial politics, engaging in speculation, media commentary, private discussions, or informal statements of interest without a formal public step toward a federal role will not qualify as entering federal politics for the purposes of this market.
