This market resolves to “Yes” if Jerome Powell is formally indicted on any criminal charge at any point during the month of January 2026. An indictment is defined as the filing of criminal charges by a grand jury or equivalent prosecutorial authority in the United States or another jurisdiction. Civil lawsuits, regulatory investigations, subpoenas, public allegations, or announcements of intent to seek charges without a formal indictment will not qualify. Charges filed outside of January 2026 will also not count. The market resolves to “No” if no such indictment occurs by 23:59 UTC on January 31, 2026. Resolution will be based on official court records, statements from prosecuting authorities, and reporting from major national news organizations.
