The Vancouver Prediction Exchange (VPX) is a platform where you can trade on the outcomes of real-world events. Buy shares if you think something will happen, or sell if you think it won't. Prices reflect the collective wisdom of all traders.
How It Works
Each market asks a yes-or-no question about a future event. Shares are priced between 1¢ and 99¢. When the event resolves, winning shares pay out $1.00 each, while losing shares become worthless.
- If you buy YES shares at 60¢ and the event happens, you profit 40¢ per share
- If you buy NO shares at 40¢ and the event doesn't happen, you profit 60¢ per share
- You can sell your shares anytime before resolution if you change your mind
